Namibia

IntroductionOne of the most popular forms of accommodation in Namibia is Camping. Clean, convenient, pleasant and cost effective camp sites can found around the country.
EtoshaCamping is a popular form of accommodation while visiting Etosha. The camp sites are excellent and have clean facilities. Find out more about Etosha on our page about Etosha Game Park.
SesriemSesriem is very convenient to visit Sossusvlei. The camp site has about 20 camping pitches, each with a large acacia tree providing shade from the desert heat. The site has an information office, a gazebo with a swimming pool and bar and additional amenities on the pitches include a barbeque (braai) and running water. There is also a store open from sunrise to sunset for supplies including food, drinks and wood. The petrol station has both petrol and diesel fuel.
Aba-Huab Aba-Huab camp site is conveniently located to visit Twyfelfontein, burnt mountain, the organ pipes and to possibly catch a glimpse of the desert elephant. The site is clean, with kitchens and ablutions available to all, a bar and the all important trees for shade.
Waterberg Plateau The Waterberg Plateau is a clean camp site with excellent ablutions, trees for shade and barbecue areas set in pristine and beautiful nature. There is no store on site so sufficient supplies are necessary for the length of your stay.
Spitzkoppe Camping in Spitzkoppe is bush camping, that is to say that is as rough as it gets. There are no kitchens, no ablutions, no showers, no barbecue areas and certainly no stores. You are on your own here so bring plenty of water, wood and food to last for your entire stay. Despite the roughness of it, Spitzkoppe is an amazing place to camp and we definitely recommend a visit to all in the area.
