I am headed to Negril, Jamacia in October for a wedding. I have herd horror stories about the sand flies on the beach eating you alive and the road from Montego Bay to Negril is horrible. Has anyone been there this last October that could give me some insite…is the road fix is there alot of bugs this time of year?

The road from Montego Bay to Negril was pretty shabby when we went, which was in 2001. As for the flies, we didn’t have any problems with them in the month of May.
